Nisha S. Dhir, M.D.

Dr. Nisha Dhir was born and raised in the Philadelphia area. She is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of Temple University and received her Medical Doctorate from the University of Pennsylvania. Her surgical internship and residency were completed in 1998 at the Mount Sinai program in New York City.

Before joining Princeton Surgical Associates, Dr. Dhir was a Surgical Attending in the Mount Sinai system at Elmhurst Hospital Center in Queens, New York. She joined our practice highly qualified in all aspects of general surgery including oncologic, gastrointestinal, colorectal, advanced laparoscopic and breast surgery. Dr. Dhir was also the Director of the Breast Center at Elmhurst Hospital.

Dr. Dhir is board certified in General Surgery by the American Board of Surgery and in 2005 was named a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. She was an Assistant Professor of Surgery at Mount Sinai and is now teaching medical students and surgical residents through the UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson program at the University Medical Center at Princeton. She is a member of both the American Medical Association and the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons.
