Henry Davison, Jr., M.D., FACS
Dr. Henry Davison, Jr. grew up in Fort Smith, Arkansas and graduated first in his class from Northside High School. He received a Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, from Columbia College i n New York in l983. He then attended Columbia University's College of Physicians and Surgeons, where he graduated with distinction, earning membership of Alpha Omega Alpha, the national medical honor society.
In l992, Dr. Davison completed a General Surgery residency at the Columbia-Presbyterian Hospital in New York City. He entered practice as a surgeon in Princeton that year. In l993 Dr. Davison was named Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and was board certified in General Surgery by the American Board of Surgery. He has taught medical students and surgical residents from the University of Medicine and Dentistry, Robert Wood Johnson Medical School as a Clinical Instructor of Surgery since his arrival in Princeton.
Dr. Davison's training at Columbia included extensive experience in cancer surgery, especially of the breast and gastrointestinal tract. In addition, he is interested in and accomplished as a thoracic, laparoscopic, and endoscopic surgeon. Dr. Davison emphasizes a compassionate, individualized approach to patient care.
